One More Lame Post From The Library...
...And then it's back to the lame posts from home--with any luck anyway. The Internet is supposed to be on at the house tomorrow, but I believe I've heard that story before.
Nita--There was a guy sitting next to me the other night muttering to himself about how no one does anything for free and when they ask for a credit card the best thing to do is to just close the window out. I glanced over and he was on Target.com. I'm not going to miss it--though we now have dial-up so if I don't want everything to take a month and a half I might be sitting next to muttering guy more often...
Still kickin' here--the cable/Internet/phone company thing was a nightmare--and still is in a way because we are stuck with dial-up at the moment--even though it's 2007 and we live on a major state road, we can't get anything but dial-up. What the hell?! But other than that things are ok. I should be able to bop around blogs (slowly, oh so very slowly) soon.
Who is that Masked Mom? I'm the mother of four children, ages 21 to 28, grandma to one, employed full-time in the chemical dependency field, writer in personality if not always in practice, married twenty-eight years, waiting less and less patiently for all the hard-earned wisdom to kick in so I can relax and coast a while....
i always feel like everyone is reading over my shoulder at the library. they totally need peep booths or something :)
