Housepainting With Daughter-Only

D-O: Mom, I was gonna say, "I think you have paint in your hair." but then I realized it was just white hairs.

If there were any justice in the world, she'd have fallen off her step-stool laughing that hard.

    I would but with my wheezy old lungs, it would probably just lead to a phlegmy coughing fit.

    And come to think of it, in D-O only years you're pretty old yourself. Are you sure I could speak up loud enough for your worn-out old ears?
