Good news is my string of consecutive posts (welcome to #47, such as it is) remains unbroken.
Bad news is (due to being called in for two consecutive overnight (on my days off) shifts due to the illness of the regular overnight staff) this is the extent of that 47th post.
Good/bad news is I will have lots of time to kill on said overnight and will probably spend it leaving absurdly long comments all over the internet or attempting to write a semi-coherent post for tomorrow.

Awesome! Hope you get caught up on rest tonight too. Relax with a warm drink tonight! You deserve it!
ReplyDeleteYea for 47 in a row! Look forward to 48 :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on #47. (And I thought I was doing well at #17 .) Hope you can get a decent night's sleep soon!
ReplyDelete47 in a row is quite a feat! Hope you get an actual day 'off' soon!
ReplyDeleteYou are a champ. Here's hoping for an uneventful overnight shift and some rest for you. You're welcome to leave me absurdly long and incoherent comments. Those are my favorite kind.
ReplyDeleteI've kept my streak alive too. It is hard when things get in the way. I don't mind a short post. At. All.
ReplyDeleteHope you have time off soon!
MM: You may find it interesting, that you are an inspiration to my 89 year old mom, with whom I have been working, to hone her computer skills. We visited your site and, afterwards, she wanted to leave a comment on sebtown's blog under the moniker, Masked Gramma. We're still working on it (blind leading the blind?) Just thought you NEEDED to hear that.
ReplyDeleteMark, I consider that a high compliment indeed. Welcome, Masked Gramma, to the wonderful world of blogging. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone else for the encouraging comments. I am not usually an overnighter--this is usually a once or twice a year thing at work--so I try not to let it effect my overall schedule more than is absolutely necessary.
It's not really the staying awake all night (especially with so many great blogs to visit) that's the issue, it's the trying to sleep AFTER staying up that's hard. Despite or maybe because of the exhaustion level, it's VERY difficult for me to fall and stay asleep during the day.
