I listened to your plaintive calls for over an hour this morning. I feel your pain. The path to true love is never straight or smooth. I don't know who this Phoebe is, but I truly hope you find her soon so I stand some chance of sleeping past 5:37 a.m.
Sincerely,
Masked Mom

Oh my goodness. It does sound like Phoebe. I like listening to the birds. I can identify only the cardinal for sure, though. But of course, they are not right outside of my bedroom window!
ReplyDeleteEarplugs, perhaps?
I usually love listening to the birds--even in the mornings. This little guy the other day, though, must've been so close to the window because his voice stood out so clearly and it went on and on and on. Perhaps he found Phoebe though--because I haven't heard him again.
DeleteOne of my favorite pastimes is listening to the birds
ReplyDeleteI'm usually right there with you, Paula. :)
DeleteThank you for visiting my blog. I'm not great at identifying birds but there is something about early morning song...not just too early! Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI agree--I love the morning chatter and song as long as it's not too early or too close to my window. It's like a little soundtrack to start the day. :)
DeleteI like watch the birds scoop and fly about.
ReplyDeleteCame over from Ramblin with AM.
If you fine the time stop on in for a cup of coffee
I love watching birds in general, but especially birds of prey when I get to see them--eagles, hawks, osprey, owls. I find them all fascinating.
DeleteAnd will definitely stop by for a visit soon. :)
