    Oh to have been a fly on the wall when she saw it. I can only go off my mother in laws probable reaction now that would have been priceless!

    Think it looks great, you should do a matching stripe on the lid ;-)

    Hey! We have that same duct tape! And, let me tell you, duct tape is much better than sitting on a cracked seat and getting your tushy pinched. (I'm speaking from experience.)

    I was using a shoe lace to flush our toilet for months while my husband was deployed. I felt pleased to have figured out a way to "fix it" without having to really deal with it. That all stopped the day my MIL came over and saw the problem. The next day my FIL showed up and replaced the handle. I think it was more for her son who was about a week from coming home, but I don't care. It was very sweet of her!
