Ways I Am Not A Grown-Up, The Ninth In A Potentially Infinite Series
I have a hard time keeping secrets--especially my own.
I'm a fabulous secret-keeper (well, not of mine, but I never speak a word of other people's secrets). People tend to confide in me, so I guess it's a good thing I don't blab.
Who is that Masked Mom? I'm the mother of four children, ages 21 to 28, grandma to one, employed full-time in the chemical dependency field, writer in personality if not always in practice, married twenty-eight years, waiting less and less patiently for all the hard-earned wisdom to kick in so I can relax and coast a while....
The only time I succeeded at keeping a secret was when I was pregnant with number 7. Even that didn't last all that long.
ReplyDeleteSecrets are powerful. I keep lots of them.

ReplyDeleteThe only way I keep a secret is if I forget about it altogether, baby brain whilst pregnant certainly helped with that ;-)
