Masked Mom's Media Monday: Election Eve

Whichever "side" you're on--even if you don't have a side (especially if you don't have a side)--you're probably glad it's almost over.

I know I am.

Masked Mom's One-Word Review: Finally.

I just hope it's actually over today. . . I think David Sedaris' quote about undecideds still applies. I choose chicken. . .

    1. I'm a chicken girl all the way--and yeah, I'm really hoping it's decisive and done today.

  3. Myself, I made it all tolerable by tuning out the first 5/8ths. I am ready to stop hearing single men's promises declaimed upon the stage as if Zeus himself would herald into D.C. come January 2013. The other branches of government swept away, these mighty men smiting answers with their sound bites of memorized words..

Yes, yes, that will be good.

    1. Tara, that the other branches of government exist is often what lets me get any sleep at night at all. I was much more careful with how much election coverage I ingested this time around. Last Presidential election was extremely unhealthy for me.

  4. Yes, glad to have it over. No matter who wins the presidency, I feel a bit sorry for him. That's one job you couldn't pay me enough to tackle.

I'm drawing a bit of hope from the smidge of bi-partisanship shown by Obama & Chris Christie. Maybe a small sign of better cooperation to come?

    1. I certainly hope so, Melanie. Though there is a hell of a lot of bitterness and whining in my Facebook feed this morning, so I wouldn't bet on it. ;)
