Wisdom can sneak up on you when you least expect it. If you're not paying attention and catch it out of the corner of your eye, you might think it's a spider and squish it flat...
Well, I've certainly never counted down the minutes left until quitting time, and if you are inclined to believe that, maybe I could interest you, in the purchase of a bridge? It has a "golden gate," and I'll sell it top you for a song. For every post of yours that dipped this low on the scale of one to ten, there are a dozen that excelled the same scale. We get our money's worth, don't you fret.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mark! Though I'm enough of a smartass to point out that "getting your money's worth" on a free blog may not be such a high compliment. ;)
DeleteAnd that bridge sounds all sparkly and nice. I may have to take a look at it one day. You know, when (not if) I win the lottery.
I concur with wise Mr. Mark! I, too, have never counted down the minutes. :)
ReplyDeleteBut I thought you were on vacation?
Last night was my last shift before vacation--but I had to call in sick Wednesday, which was my next-to-the-last shift (not that I was counting). ;)
DeleteHave a fabulous time NOT doing things. Are you taking a vacation from your blog? If so, we'll be counting down till you come back!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jewels. If anything, I'll be on more than usual, unless some spur of the moment getaway (and the money to fund it) comes up. ;)
DeleteI agree with Jewels! Enjoy your rest:)
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna rest so much it will wear me out. :)
DeleteQuantity is okay sometimes too. Have a great vacation!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Steph. Looking forward to it!!!
