Scrambling
Spent all day scrambling in various ways and will leave work two and a half hours early (10:00 p.m.) with additional scrambling to do. Please enjoy this image, in lieu of hold music, until our regularly scheduled program returns. (Michelle, feel free to picture them doused ketchup.)

DeleteHmmmmmm - these look delicious! If only I could make eggs that look like this - seriously!
ReplyDeleteI know, it's crazy how great they look, isn't it?
DeleteUm, okay, why? We're doing pancakes for Shrove Tuesday over here....
ReplyDeleteMmmmm, pancakes. Son-Two had an appointment here in town and needed to be picked up from where he lives (two hours away) and I couldn't do it BEFORE work because he works too, etc. It was almost 3 a.m. before I got home. Bonus? I have to take him back tonight. (More manageable tonight though because I can leave work much earlier.)
DeleteThe hold music thing has given me the snarfy giggles. I hope you are as pretty as those eggs even though you're scrambled. Sending you some deep and relaxing thoughts.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Back atcha! (I have a feeling that despite my scrambled feeling, I'm have a more relaxing week than you are. Did you ever discover the source of the foot smell?)
DeleteThank you. Scrambled is a way of life around here. I don't think the source of the smell is a corpse, thankfully. However, it may be a big festering hair-baby residing in our bathtub drain.
DeleteI read this at the wrong time of day...now I suddenly want scrambled eggs:) Hope your week becomes less scrambled as it goes on...
ReplyDeleteI am so hungry right now...
ReplyDeleteEloquent in its simplicity. Sometimes the least complicated posts provide the most enjoyment. I love the transfer of the metaphorical "scramble" to the literal one. Well-played.
