Word Problem

If a picture is worth a thousand words, what are two pictures of words worth?

  1. I haven't often wondered how the nurse would know which cup was mine - always worried me a bit :)

  2. My favorite is when they have the little labels in the bathroom to put your name on your cup. I always stress about doing that before or after. If you do before, well, obviously you might pee on the label and how embarrassing would that be? If you do it after you have to, you know, man handle a cup you've just peed in (on). Its always a conundrum.

Was that too personal for a strangers post on your blog? Ah well. Happy NaBoPloMoing!

  3. I work in a clinic, and the nurses write it on the cup first, then give it to you. Thank goodness! I would not know what to do first either....And saves the problem of trying to guess which cup belongs to which patient!

  4. Imagine that. A walking pedestrian. Better be careful. Big smiles all around.

  5. The whole process is just so. .. um .. awkward I just want to get it all over with, I don't really worry much how she knows it's my cup ..I just want to get out of there! Glad I've never had to suffer the dilemma of writing before or after.
    Thanks for the smiles!

  6. I think that pee in a cup should have Some Meaning, with or without a Name on it. It might not be the Same Meaning, but can't possibly have No Meaning!!!! ;)

  7. Oops! Forgot to capitalize "It". Where are my grammar skills? Verification word: foxtril.
    Obviously a fox's nostril.

  8. Absolutely pee in a cup has Meaning. And with a capitol M. I always just want to get the heck out of there - with or w/o spillage - just get me out of there. Actually, it is a wonder I am there in the first place. I avoid doctors and medical stuff like the plague. Ugh. Bodies are weird anyway.....
