Today's Post Brought To You By The Letter "E"

I would endeavor to elaborate upon the enormous toll that egregious misuse of the English language exacts upon my soul and the ways in which that exaggerated effect may be evidence of my own mental health issues, but I lack the energy. Suffice it to say, perhaps if I were more evolved, signs like this:

            ...wouldn't make me scream "Eeeeek!"

I will grant you that eloquence is in the eye of the beholder. The definition of "eloquent," however, is not.

  1. That was essentially the most elaborate and eloquently thought evoking, epic event of blogging.

  2. How extraordinary! An exemplary piece of exploited English!
(This is reminding me of Mr. Popper's secretary in Mr. Popper's Penguins. Honestly she made the movie worth it.)

  3. But did you actually listen to the pastries?! They may have been eloquent, you don't know! ;)

  6. Well, I'm sure some of those cakes could be "moving"...maybe?

  7. Ha-ha-ha the comments are extraordinarily eloquent, even if the cakes were not.

  8. Something like this would've made me crazy! I can't stand things like this! Makes me as mad as I get when my kids' school sends home letters that haven't been spell-checked...or, obviously, even PROOFREAD before being mass-printed and sent home. Spelling mistakes, the incorrect use of "they're", "their", or "there", sentences ending with the word "with"...I could scream!
